Drowning Pool é uma banda americana de metal alternativo formada em Dallas, Texas no ano de 1996.
Drowning Pool foi uma das bandas mais promissoras da década de 2000. Paul Brandon Gilbert nasceu em 6 de novembro de 1966 em Carbondale, Illinois, EUA. Aos cinco anos ganhou uma guitarra e um amplificador de brinquedo de presente de seus pais.
